One Year. We learn so much about our spouse in one year. Life changes, we change and our hearts grow more entwined together. It's the working out of two hearts becoming one. I love seeing couples grow together. Having come through boot camp with flying colors made her very proud of her husband. You can see it in her eyes. When he was finished, she wanted to do a 1 year anniversary session. If you have read many of my blog post's you will see a theme. The great outdoors. I love being outside and even though I grew up in the country of Upstate New York, nothing was like the Mountains of the Blue Ridge. I LOVE having them as my backdrop! Isn't this a sweet image?!?! A sense of adventure runs deep in their veins so we had to stop traffic for this cool shoot! May your future hold many new adventures, things that challenge you but also bring you closer and closer together. Congratulations. Follow Holly Ann Photography on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. 2/15/2016 1 Comment Country casual Engagement // C & MLoyalty. It's why we call dogs a man's best friend. Loyalty is what carries us all through thick and thin. But loyalty in a person is harder to find. When Chelsey and Mark found each other they started with friendship then they also found one who was loyal. If you follow Liberty Football you may remember Mark as #65 for the Liberty Flames. That RING!! And the truth is she shows off her ring beautifully but she can also cook up a storm with her hands. Mouth watering dishes of all kinds have been created by Chelsey and that is one of the many things Mark loves about her! I love nature, hikes and beautiful locations. This little one by the river was no exception! It provided a beautiful backdrop. Hand in hand, side by side, friendship turned in to loyalty and loyalty into "I Do." Congratulations to you both! Even though I'm in Madison Heights, VA these friends of mine asked if I would be willing to do their wedding in TN. Umm, roadtrip! YES. I loved being able to be a part of their special day and captured some beautiful images in the evening during the golden hour! The light was beautiful and captured their joy just right. These handmade pies were adorable! Each guest picked one up and had their own personal pie for dessert. It doesn't get much cuter than that!! Does your camera confuse you sometimes? Do you take a great picture and then look at the playback only to be disappointed? Do you want to learn what all the buttons and settings stand for on your camera? Every Mother knows the emotional roller coaster of joy, sadness and unbelief that 365 days have passed since the first minute they held their precious, wet bundle of joy in their arms for the first time. Documenting that wonderful event is always fun when you do a cake smash session. It's the first time they are allowed to dive right in and destroy the whole cake, all by themselves! It's so fun to watch and I loved capturing this sweet pictures of "L". As a Mother myself, I love working with little ones as they explore, learn and try new things. A beautiful cake was something L was in LOVE with and soon found it's way into her mouth. But she kept looking at us, wondering, "Why aren't you stopping me? This usually doesn't happen!" Yummy! Yes, a job well done. Cake completely destroyed and a happy and very sugar high little ONE year old! Her cake smash session was a success!! Ready for your cake smash session too? Contact us today. Leaving behind the norms, changing the place of your education for college, jobs or the military all mean taking a risk. It's also exciting at the same time. This fun session began with Emily's makeup session and then we were off to find some bold, fun and unique spots. Downtown Lynchburg gave us lots to explore! And the class ring!! I remember how awesome it was to FINALLY get my class ring! Emily, you are beautiful and confident. May all your dreams really come true. Where did you have your senior session?
